Moscow to host BRICS Academic Forum

Moscow will host the major expert event as part of Russian BRICS Chairship in 2024, the BRICS Academic Forum, on 22-24 May. The Forum is organized by the BRICS Expert Council – Russia.

The Forum under the motto “BRICS: New Figures at the Global Chessboard” will bring together over 200 representatives from expert society across all BRICS countries.

Participants will debate solutions on the pressing global governance issues, generate proposals for strengthening interaction between the BRICS countries, elaborate ways to further enhance multilateral cooperation at all levels.

Special attention will be paid to the progress achieved by the BRICS countries on the issues of common concern.

The primary goal of the Forum is to present Policy Recommendations drafted by expert society members to the leaders of BRICS countries in line with the official agenda of the Russian BRICS Chairship.

The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
