8th Creative Business Forum at SPIEF 2024 to Address Development of Creative Industries in BRICS Countries
The 8th Creative Business Forum will take place on 8 June 2024 on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). The Creative Business Forum, which is being organized by the Innosocium Foundation, the social platform of the Roscongress Foundation, will feature discussions of creative industries in BRICS countries with a focus on preserving and developing cultural diversity. The discussion of current issues in creative industries aims to tap into the internal potential of creative entrepreneurship in BRICS member countries based on their national identity.
“Focusing on traditional cultural and historical values, creative heritage, and the development of human capital has proven to be an effective foundation for the development of all areas of creative entrepreneurship. In the modern world, the technological structure is changing, the system of international relations is being transformed, and the process of globalization is giving way to a desire for uniqueness, which is most clearly manifested in places where there are traditions. The Creative Business Forum has consistently proven to be a popular discussion platform where pressing issues concerning the development of creative entrepreneurship are discussed. It generates practical interest among businesses and creates a promising structure for the creative sector of the economy,” said Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
The Forum discussions aim to consolidate and build on best practices in social and creative entrepreneurship. The Forum programme focuses on exploring the potential of creative industries as a tool for creating a sustainable future through ergonomic solutions, the synergy of innovation and creativity, and the harmonious integration of national traditions into modern culture.
The Creative Business Forum will be attended by art managers, designers, publishers, film producers, CEOs of media holdings, and IT industry leaders. The programme features discussions on some of the most popular topics in the creative industries: investing in cultural capital, exporting animated content, promoting national brands in the fashion industry, neural networks and creative content, new media, preserving cultural heritage, changes in the sociocultural space, developing domestic streaming platforms, education in creative industries, music trends, investing in creative industries, cultural exchanges, and the Russian art industry in BRICS countries.
