An online meeting on the functioning of the BRICS Vaccine R&D Centre was held on 17 September.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the national coordinators from BRICS countries. The meeting participants discussed cooperation in the development of vaccines, and each country presented its achievements in this area, as well as national priorities for the development and production of immunobiological drugs.
Russia put forward an initiative to create an international electronic platform (exchange) to implement joint projects, including the development of vaccines, R&D, as well as preclinical and clinical trials.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
