The Committee of BRICS Senior Energy Officials held a meeting in Moscow on 26–27 February with the participation of new member countries.

The meeting included a recap of the history of the BRICS energy dialogue and detailed presentations about the key mechanisms and priorities of cooperation. The participants discussed the working plan of the BRICS Energy Research Platform. Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Sergey Mochalnikov outlined the key areas of energy cooperation as part of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.

BRICS Senior Energy Officials held a meeting at the Energy of Life pavilion at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre in Moscow on 26–27 February 2024, the first BRICS energy dialogue event of the year, with participation of the new member countries.
