The BRICS Council on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism met on 7 February via video conference.
During the event such topics as improving national anti-money laundering systems and joint measures for ensuring financial security were discussed.
As part of Russia’s BRICS Chairship, initiatives aimed at increasing the transparency of financial systems, minimizing risks and threats, strengthening public-private partnerships, and engaging young people in financial security were introduced.
