Meeting of the BRICS Ministers of Justice

Moscow hosted the first Meeting of BRICS Justice Ministers on 18 September.

During the meeting, the ministers discussed priority focuses of legal cooperation and exchanged views on the establishment of an advisory format on legal and justice issues within BRICS.

Russia proposed promising areas of cooperation with a focus on creating effective mechanisms to regulate cross-border business and civil transactions, as well as to ensure the security of foreign investment.

The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairmanship.
