Kazan will host a Meeting of the Heads of BRICS Emergency Agencies on 10–11 July 2024
Meeting participants will discuss the development of national search and rescue teams, consider ways of sharing information among the various crisis management centres in the most effective way, and look at the application of monitoring, information, and early warning systems.
The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations will also be sharing its experience with simulations in the Kazanka River of the procedures for putting out a fire on a vessel, rescuing victims, and mitigating an emergency oil spill.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS Chairship.
