Moscow hosted the BRICS Business Forum on 17–18 October.
The event was attended by over a thousand representatives of the business community and heads of companies, associations, unions of entrepreneurs, and chambers of commerce and industry of BRICS member countries. Russian President Vladimir Putin spoke at the plenary session.
The forum programme included plenary and panel sessions devoted to financial and investment cooperation, international trade, the development of agribusiness, and energy transition issues. Award ceremonies were held for the winners of the International Competition of BRICS Best Practices, BRICS Solutions Awards and the BRICS Women’s Startups Contest.
The Roscongress Foundation manages the events of Russia’s BRICS chairship.
